The Pleiades are among those objects which are known since the earliest times. At least 6 member stars are visible to the naked eye. "Close-up" image is obtained through Megerz 80 Apo 80/480; TeleVue 0,8x field flatenner/reducer and 5x10 minutes on Starlight Express SXVF-M8C CCD camera.
Pleiades obtained through a Megrez 80 triplet fluorite APO, TeleVue field flattener/focal reducer 0,8x, Cannon EOS 300D (5x300 second exposure at 1600ASA dark subtracted and assembled in Photoshop).
One of my older M45 image obtained through a Telephoto lens 200mm/f:3,5 exposed 300 sec. on Pixcell 237 CCD.
