Comet C/2002 V1 (NEAT)
During the evening of November 6, 2002, astronomers using the
1.2-meter reflector at Haleakala, Hawaii, discovered a 17th-magnitude comet
as part of the Near Earth Asteroid Tracking (NEAT) program. Through February
2003. comet NEAT was visible with naked eye.
I photographed this comet on 07. February at 17:45 UT through
a Celestron refractor 102mm/f5 (exposed 2 minutes on Fujicolor Superia 800
film). |
